Amanda Hiber is a Senior Lecturer in English and Co-Director of the Women’s and Gender Studies Program at the University of Detroit Mercy. She writes memoir and personal essays about place, the body, and her fantastically complicated family. She’s recently ventured into television criticism. She lives in Detroit with her partner, Ben.
